Personal Accident Insurance Policy

When a person meets with an accident, the family undergoes more than just mental stress. A family also faces the trouble of being able to pay for the healthcare costs. This leads to individuals having to sacrifice a part of their hopes and ambitions. For instance in a family where the child wishes to go abroad for further studies, he/she may not be able to do so simply due to lack of money. Healthcare and the life of a loved one come first under any circumstances. If it is not a life threatening situation, then the injured individual would compromise on healthcare and allow other family members to use the funds available. However, with a personal accident insurance policy, there is no need for a family to do that. Medical insurance plans are different from personal accident insurance plans. The prime difference is the fact that the former would not pay for the individual’s accident costs.

Some treatments that are required after an accident may be covered by medical plans, but not all. Besides a personal accident insurance policy would give the individual several benefits for costs that are incurred post-accident. Apollo Munich’s Personal Accident Policy provides customers with the benefit of lump sum amount in case of death or permanent disability of the insured.
